About the Role:

As a WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our WordPress-based applications and websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress development principles, solid coding skills, and the ability to create custom themes and plugins.

Develop and maintain WordPress-based applications, websites, and themes, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to translate UI/UX designs into fully functional WordPress websites.
Write clean, efficient, well-documented code using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins or develop new ones as per project requirements.
Optimize websites and applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and SEO.
Implement and maintain best practices for WordPress development, including code versioning, testing, and deployment.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform bug fixes, and implement enhancements.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in WordPress development and related technologies.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development, including customizations and creating new functionalities.
Strong coding skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and familiarity with MySQL.
Experience with responsive and mobile-first web development techniques.
Knowledge of WordPress APIs, hooks, and actions.
Familiarity with web standards and best practices, including SEO optimization.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with B2B SaaS platforms or similar industry.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries, such as React or Vue.js.
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
Understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to work closely with designers.
