Job Description
Décor Steals Inc. is looking for an E-commerce Marketing Director to join our team of ambitious and driven individuals. To be the perfect fit for this role, you must be a creative and motivated person, who is passionate about driving action. You will need to be a natural communicator with an entrepreneurial and driven spirit! You understand the power of marketing and public relations in building a strong recognizable brand. As the E-commerce Marketing Director, you will develop marketing plans and direct the implementation of the e-commerce vision and strategy for achieving corporate sales and conversion goals. You’ll create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develop budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. You’ll oversee digital marketing efforts geared to grow business, increase customer engagement, maximizes sales on active products, strategizes off-loading of discontinued products, and optimize the online experience. Being an E-commerce Marketing Director, you’ll utilize retail psychology, hype, messaging, best sellers, daily deals, steal it box, must-haves, what’s trending, pricing value proposition, user reviews, and email campaigns to attract and retain customers. Additionally, the E-commerce Marketing Director will track and measure program effectiveness to drive improvement or develop new offerings. Strong data analysis skills.This individual needs to have extensive experience in the following areas as well:

  • Design, develop, execute, and evaluate email marketing and SMS campaigns (klaviyo and attentive preferred)
  • Deploys SEO tools and methods to ensure e-commerce website is optimized for searching and performance responsiveness as well as delivering visual appeal and compelling content. Deploy link-building strategies.
  • Lead site audits that examine user behavior and recommend changes to improve conversions.
  • Identify, apply, and share industry trends and insights that help to optimize campaign performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with business department leads and the executive team to set strategy through analysis of historical marketing data.
  • Ads strategy
  • Establishes and monitors ROI and KPIs for digital channels.
  • Branding
  • Content creation
  • Topics for blog posts that align with our SEO efforts
  • Knowledge of selling on retail distribution sites
  • Solid understanding of social media both paid and organic. Including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Facebook Groups, Youtube, and Pinterest
  • Strategy on how to leverage our Affiliates and influencers
  • Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills to clearly articulate ideas, frame problems, and offer solutions. Strong leadership track record with the ability to work effectively with the executive leadership team.
  • Highly analytical and able to extract meaning from data and use this information to optimize a marketing strategy.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize and get things done.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing
  • +6 years of experience in Marketing and 3+ years being a Director of Marketing
  • Cutting-edge knowledge of digital marketing
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing metrics/ analytics best practices.
  • Critical thinking is a must.
  • Ability to work in a remote team environment and communicate in an effective manner.
  • Worked in Asana for project management (not required but a bonus)
  • Has experience with Salesforce E-commerce (not required but a bonus)

Our schedule is Monday – Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
