SEO Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to advise and implement SEO best practices for our web content. We are looking for someone passionate about conducting ongoing keyword and competitive research to consistently increase our organic search rankings. You’ll collaborate with our marketing team members to optimize web content, landing pages, and digital ads. You will be responsible for optimizing our SEO and PPC efforts, as well as building and analyzing reports that inform our digital marketing decisions.

 

As a SEO Specialist, a typical day might include the following: 

• Use SEO tools to determine the best keyword strategy for existing and new webpages.
• Collaborate with writers and content team to influence compelling, high-quality copy that utilizes ideal keywords and ensures SEO best practices.
• Perform technical audits and use on-page and off-page SEO techniques to increase page rankings.
• Regularly track performance of pages using tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Ahrefs, or similar tools.
• Create reports and dashboards for organic SEO and PPC initiatives and campaigns using PowerBI or Looker Studio and provide insights and recommendations for improvements.

 

This job might be for you if: 

• You enjoy the challenge of keyword research and competitive analysis to strive for #1 keyword rankings.
• You have a degree in business, marketing, information technology, or related degree.
• You have 3+ years of experience in SEO and PPC campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and experience with website analysis and reporting tools.
• You have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Pay Range Data

We anticipate filling this position as a SEO Specialist ($58,200 – $91,200) but we are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
