ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to help manage search engine optimization and other marketing channel activities.

You will be responsible for managing an SEO book of business where you assist Account Managers in the presenting, planning, and delivery of client performance, data analysis, strategy, and SEO deliverables. You will also upsell SEO products and cross channel products as the opportunities present themselves, as well as present and strategize for renewal pitches.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Develop and maintain relationships with their book of business (BOB), understanding the fundamental components of their client’s business, the ROI of their products/services, and their preferred methods of performance review
  • Communicate complex SEO concepts in an understandable manner to clients, ensuring transparency and trust
  • Address client concerns effectively, offering recommendations that align with their goals and satisfaction
  • Manage daily customer deliverables autonomously while collaborating with the team for support as needed
  • Work closely with Account Managers to align on orders, strategies, and any necessary shifts in approach
  • Be accountable for the organic growth performance of their BOB, adjusting strategies to achieve positive outcomes
  • Conduct regular reviews of client performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, etc., to inform and refine SEO strategies
  • Foster collaboration with peers and other departments to ensure client success
  • Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team and across departments through training sessions, shadowing opportunities, or syncs
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for new or improved products and services that deliver maximum value to clients
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and SEO updates through continuous learning and engagement with relevant resources

ABOUT YOU 

  • 3–4 years of proven experience in SEO
  • Expertise in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
  • Deep knowledge of SEO tools and programs (e.g., AHREFs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog)
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance client performance with innovative strategies and recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex issues to both internal teams and clients
  • Adept at identifying upselling and renewal opportunities and presenting them compellingly to clients
  • Strong personal time management skills, including the ability to work in a completely remote environment
  • Ability to continually learn, grow, and refine your skillset to adapt to the rapidly changing world of SEO

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION 

  • Base Salary: USD $57,000.00 to $63,000.00; depending on experience and skills
  • Monthly commission eligible
