ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various online platforms to drive website traffic, increase engagement, and generate leads.
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Oversee the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and potentially additional channels.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, copy) for digital platforms.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and social media activity.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize SEO strategies and improve search rankings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.

 

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

  • Coordinate with external agencies or vendors as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as requested.

 

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

  1. Digital Campaign Performance: Evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns through metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS). Regularly assess and report on campaign ROI.
  2. Website Traffic & User Engagement: Monitor and analyze website traffic using tools like Google Analytics. Assess user engagement levels, bounce rates, and average session duration to understand the effectiveness of content and user experience strategies.
  3. SEO Success Metrics: Track the ranking of key search terms and the overall organic search traffic to the website. Measure improvements in search engine rankings and the growth in organic traffic.
  4. Social Media Reach and Engagement: Analyze the growth in followers, engagement rates (likes, comments, shares), and overall brand presence on various social media platforms.
  5. Email Marketing Metrics: Evaluate the performance of email marketing campaigns through open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Monitor the growth of the email subscriber list and its segmentation effectiveness.
  6. Content Performance: Assess the performance of content marketing initiatives through metrics such as views, shares, time spent on page, and content-related conversions.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Assess the effectiveness in collaborating with other team members, departments, and external partners. Evaluate communication skills in presenting strategies, insights, and results.
  8. Professional Development: Monitor ongoing learning and adaptation to new digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
  9. Achievement of Growth Goals: Measure digital marketing tactics’ effectiveness in meeting overall goals of the credit union (ie. membership, deposits, loans)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONA degree in Marketing or Communications (or equivalent certifications and training) is preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGEDetailed knowledge and understanding of financial products and services.

Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and principles.

Knowledge of the credit union industry and its mission & purpose.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least two (2) years of related experience in digital marketing.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Excellent sales abilities.

Tech-savvy with various platforms, using various media

Able to research, problem-solve, and achieve proven results.
