The Social Media Specialist will primarily be responsible for supporting the development and comprehensive integration of social media campaigns and initiatives that drive followership, engagement and loyalty with Fluke customers and fans. Reporting to the Manager, Global Social Media Marketing, this position primarily focuses on North America, but will support the evolution of our global social program. You will join a team of marketers located around the world and be responsible for building and implementing organic social media strategic plans that improve perception and increase consideration of the Fluke brand and products.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience using social media to build brands, create attention, grow communities, and generate user advocacy on a global and local scale. You will implement mechanisms and measurement tools that identify opportunities to engage audiences and leverage new and existing content platforms. At a strategic level, you will support the development of a strategy and social media experimentation plan to connect with our fans and followers more effectively. At a tactical level, you will own the social team’s content calendar, create a steady stream of organic content for North America, leverage performance metrics to experiment, and test new content ideas, as well as provide regular performance reporting to all levels of the business. You will work cross-functionally within our digital team, as well as across Fluke Marketing, Sales, Product and Support teams and will be responsible for reviewing and editing social content across regions to ensure quality and consistency in our brand voice.

Fluke digital marketing works in an agile environment and this role will support those efforts by collaborating with or operating within a focused agile marketing team.

This role can be based out our headquarters in Everett, WA or remotely in North America time zone.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the North America social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification.

Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules

Plan, create, publish and share compelling content (including video, animation, photography, blog/editorial, short form videos and other content) on a daily basis that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness and encourages community members to engage with the brand

Collaborate with cross functional teams, agencies and other partners to identify, execute, and amplify social media efforts.

Drive content amplification on existing and emerging social media with employees and leadership.

Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of social to inform our social strategy, drive social media metrics and understand social media impact.

Be an expert on digital and social market trends, providing inspiration and thought leadership on ways to engage customer and fans.

Support influencer strategies and implementation

Own the conversation with our social community; using the brand tone of voice to respond to comments and direct messages and drive proactive interactions within relevant culture moments

Maintain close contact with relevant department to ensure all social inquiries are answered or escalated as needed

Experience and ability to flex to support other digital functions (email, PPC, SEO etc.) should the need arise.

A college degree in business, marketing, communication or related field

3+ years of experience within a mid-to-large size company responsible for executing digital or social marketing strategies.

A combination of B2B (lead generation) and B2C (eCommerce) experience, preferred.

Demonstrated experience driving results and innovation through Social Media platforms

A proven ability to set-up and effectively utilize leading marketing analytics platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Google Analytics, PowerBI etc.) to identify and report on insights important to driving the business

Experience with operating and maintaining social platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter etc.)

A collaborative mindset and approach to the many projects that require team members from different organizations within Marketing, other departments, and broader Fluke organizations to be successful.

Solid track record for deploying high performing digital or social programs, and oversight of agencies and partners.

A customer obsessed mindset, able to prioritize social media enquiries and interact in a proper manner

The successful candidate will be creative, innovative, results oriented and possess a demonstrated ability to work as a team player to drive business success

Willingness to learn and grow with a future potential to move or advance into other roles

Experience working in an agile/scrum environment preferred
