Job Posting: Digital Marketing Account Manager

We’re looking for an effective communicator who will go the extra mile and is not afraid to “ask for the sale”. Your goal will be to manage the execution of marketing plans and utilize targeted communication to grow client accounts in the veterinary industry.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or minimum 3 years in an account management role working directly with client-side decision makers and/or stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset supported by ability to take the initiative, anticipate challenges, and proactively enact solutions
  • Familiarity with SEO, paid search, email, and related internet/digital marketing campaigns and experience explaining how these tools impact real world results
  • Eagerness to grow accounts through upgrading clients into additional services
  • Strong sales/phone skills, ability to overcome objections, and confidence handling rejection
  • Ability to demonstrate both flexibility and creativity in problem solving, as well as comfort using critical thinking to investigate challenging situations
  • Mentality of a self-disciplined, active learner with a positive attitude
  • Eagerness to support a team and work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently and be held accountable for results
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to quickly establish rapport
  • A strong focus and track record of empathy, customer service, and maintaining relationships

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for digital marketing clients
  • Utilize your determination and relationship-building aptitude to maximize outcomes for your assigned clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to drive profitable growth and client satisfaction
  • Coordinate and deliver ongoing client requests on-time, within budget, and within scope
  • Create project timelines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress on all client projects while delivering high quality work within scope
  • Effectively communicate with clients to uncover their challenges, triumphs, and goals as well as manage client expectations
  • Translate client needs to internal subject matter experts to ensure ultimate success across all services in the client portfolio
  • Prepare and deliver reports regarding status of project or overall digital marketing performance, as requested by account executives, management and/or the client
  • Conduct regular telephone/video calls to check in with clients on goals, their business, and overall status of collective initiatives
  • Retain and grow your book of business within client accounts by servicing, upselling, and promoting products within our suite of services that would enhance client satisfaction and success
  • Possible travel to national tradeshows
  • Performs general office and business-related tasks such as corresponding via email, answering and making telephone calls, communicating with coworkers, and participating in general office duties in a professional, timely, and positive manner

COVID-19 considerations:
We have both work from home and in-office options. We prefer to meet in-person on the first day of employment, but after that, we provide the employee with the option that makes them most comfortable.
