This growth has allowed us to continually expand our workforce. The Company operates out of several facilities, including two transfer stations. Priority Waste maintains a diversified platform providing service to both municipal solid-waste, construction and demolition customers. Through our yellow fleet of residential, roll off, and front load trucks and containers, Priority Waste makes the customer experience our #1 priority.

Job Purpose

As a Search Engine Optimization Specialist you will be responsible for conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, building links, analyzing web traffic, and implementing on-page SEO strategies. The SEO specialist will work full-time onsite at our corporate office in Clinton Township, MI

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to

Conduct page optimization for search engine marketing
Monitor daily performance metrics with SEO tools such as Google analytics to understand SEO strategy performance
Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy
Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery and optimization for new SEO keywords to use throughout the company website and marketing materials
Closely collaborate with web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly followed throughout website content
Change website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in SEO
Strong knowledge of Keyword Research and SEO Audits
Experience in Link Building and Web Analytics
Expertise in On-Page SEO strategies
Ability to analyze website traffic and performance using web analytics tools
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the Waste and Recycling industry is a plus
