What you’ll do

Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, this role is vital for optimizing our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies through advanced Semantic SEO techniques and data analytics.

As part of the growth marketing team, you will collaborate closely with the UI/UX Designer, Data Analyst, Frontend Engineers, and Paid Media Manager.

 

Team Collaboration

  • UI/UX Designers: Work collaboratively to ensure the website’s user experience complements the SEO strategy, optimizing for human interaction and search engine algorithms.
  • Data Analysts: Partner to cross-reference data points and metrics, enabling comprehensive analysis and actionable insights for SEO efforts.
  • Frontend Engineers: Liaise to implement SEO-friendly features and improvements, such as faster page loads, mobile optimization, and improved site architecture.
  • Paid Media Manager: Work alongside to share relevant insights from PPC and social advertising channels that can inform and augment organic SEO strategies.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Semantic SEO Analysis & Implementation: Conduct and apply Semantic SEO methodologies in analyzing Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs), identifying Entity-Attribute-Value (E-A-V) triples and other semantic elements that impact our SEO strategies.
  • Knowledge Base Construction & Implementation: Construct, verbalize, and apply a robust knowledge base that aligns with consistent E-A-V triples to improve our SERP performance.
  • Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement machine learning models to predict future SERP trends and understand semantic content networks, ensuring a competitive edge.
  • KPI and Metrics Definition & Monitoring: Work with stakeholders across departments to define, implement, and monitor KPIs and metrics that include Semantic SEO elements for evaluating SERP performance and quality.
  • Strategic Recommendations & Implementation: Formulate and execute strategic recommendations grounded in data-driven insights and Semantic SEO principles to enhance our SEO and paid advertising initiatives.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Design and disseminate visually compelling reports and dashboards that present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Automation & Data Transformation: Collaborate with the engineering team to build and implement automated pipelines that facilitate efficient data collection, preprocessing, and transformation of parsed SERP data for in-depth Semantic SEO analysis.
  • Industry Awareness & Adaptation: Keep abreast of the latest trends in search engine algorithms, Semantic SEO best practices, and the SERPs to ensure our strategies are current and effective.

 

Who you are

  • Analytical Thinker: You have a natural inclination towards data and enjoy diving deep into analytics to extract actionable insights. Must be expert-level in Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
  • SEO Enthusiast: You are passionate about SEO, particularly the intricacies of Semantic SEO, and are always updated on industry trends and algorithm changes.
  • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and can communicate effectively with different departments to achieve common goals.
  • Strategic Implementer: Not only can you formulate data-driven strategies, but you also excel in executing these plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Adaptable: You are comfortable with change, can juggle multiple responsibilities, and adapt your strategies in response to new information or challenges.
