CM Group, a global leader in marketing technology, is seeking a copywriter to add to our marketing team. We need a sharp, strategic writer to work with our team on a variety of projects for multiple technology brands, including updating existing marketing pieces and developing new marketing copy and content for various channels and initiatives, with an emphasis on short-form copy.
Responsibilities:
  • Write, edit, and proofread copy assignments in support of and as directed by the Director of Content, while meeting deadlines. Projects may include but will not be limited to: web copy/content, landing pages, emails, paid media ads, newsletters, case studies, blog posts, video, social media, and more.
  • Collaborate with copywriting team and graphic designers/art directors to help create work that communicates core ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Adapt writing style to fit distinct voice of each brand within CM family, as well as meet unique requirements of each selling channel
  • Oversee and maintain brand standards and tone across all brands
  • Maintain copy best practices for all channels
Requirements/Capabilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong command of copy principles and ability to write for multiple channels
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to drive audiences to complete a desired action (persuade, inform, educate, etc.)
  • Experience and understanding of martech sector and B2B/technology platforms preferred, but not required
  • Significant knowledge of and interest in digital marketing, SaaS, or tech
  • Understanding and ability to implement SEO best practices to optimize copy/content as needed
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and self-manage work to meet deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient experience with Asana, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and other platforms
