Full Job Description
We’re looking for a Content Specialist to join our eCommerce team to manage content and help us grow our online presence.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct in-depth competitive research of the marketplace, audiences, and competitors
- Create optimized content based on concrete data and insightful research to increase organic traffic to our Amazon listings
- Develop content based on specific marketing strategies, target audience, brand voice and other brand guidelines
- Create captivating, persuasive copy for email marketing campaigns, landing pages, product pages, digital ads, social media and blogs
- Stay up-to-date on the latest in Social Media and Pop Culture as it relates to the brand
- Be your own toughest critic, use editing tools and your keen eye for detail to make sure your draft is top-notch
- Ensure projects are on-time, error-free, and properly constructed based on requirements
- Update product pages as new formats are created or improved over time
- Maintain ownership and responsibility, including QA, throughout the lifecycle of all projects
- Maintain personal daily and weekly production schedule while ensuring senior management is routinely updated
Position Requirements:
- 2-3 years of copywriting experience at a successful D2C brand or digital marketing agency required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Creative copywriting, grammar, spelling, written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a foundational understanding of the Ecommerce industry/landscape. Applicants without this experience will not be considered
- Deep understanding of the difference between Web copy, email copy, social copy, blog copy, etc.
- Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest Proficiency- strong overall knowledge of the social media landscape preferred
- Ability to turnover high-quality work quickly and efficiently
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and grow
- An idea person – able to contribute with ideas, campaign concepts, and more.
Skills You Need:
- Intermediate knowledge of Search Engine Optimization & various keyword research techniques
- Understanding of Google Suite
- Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel (basic sorting, filtering, and search skills)
- Familiarity with digital asset management tools, image hosting platforms, and content management systems
- Experience with Amazon product listings

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $62,500.00 per year
