Core responsibilities

Execution
Test & learn initiative ideation, execution and evaluation for critical SEO elements, CRO and design
Opportunity/demand research; on-page optimization/implementation for improved traffic/conversion.
Perform and/or manage audits to identify technical issues and optimization opportunities.
Inform local strategy based on local market insights and trends.
Contribute to global strategy development. Take active part in global initiatives and executions.
Manage off-page/outreach efforts and provide input into local backlink acquisition strategy
Inform content strategy and provide support for development of programmatic content solutions

Analysis
Responsible for attaining SEO growth goals
Monitor SEO performance daily; communicate performance/activities to relevant partners of varying degrees of SEO knowledge
Weekly analytics reviews (e.g., Google Search Console/Omniture) to identify issues and opportunities
Understand and report on cross-channel impacts and performance
Build ad-hoc reports for deeper dive investigations into performance trends
Benchmark and monitor competitor performance and activities

Collaboration
Coordinate with local & global business partners on SEO related projects
Partner with relevant teams outside of the SEO department, including PR, Analytics and Brand to find points of collaboration and shared execution
Evangelize and educate internal/external partners regarding SEO channel

Administration
Handle the day-to-day vendor relationships and associated projects
On board new vendors, inform negotiation/prep of agreements
Responsible for budgeting and running marketing spend; timely completion of accruals
Inform forecasting process and give input regarding channel risks/opportunities/drivers

 

Qualifications
Experience in SEO analysis, search engine marketing, or other analytical online marketing.
Demonstrates an understanding of the principles of optimization for natural search. Passionate about SEO and eager to develop cutting edge search marketing approaches and contribute to evolving SEO practice
Looking for someone who has an SEO technical and analytical mindset. Experience in working with data and an appetite to manipulate large data sets and analytics to identify relevant trends and insights is essential
Needs to be a self-starter who strives to learn, roll-up their sleeves to actively pursue problems, and is motivated to achieve outcomes with hands-on execution and capable management
Eager to deliver business results. Strives to be accountable and provide visibility to broader team around outcomes
Strong collaborator who looks for opportunities to work cross-functionally with other groups and takes opportunity to evangelize channel
Experience in SEO and analytics toolsets such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Omniture and rankings platforms such as BrightEdge, AWR, STAT, SEO Clarity

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $66,000.00 to $92,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $105,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
