Through Andy, our work continues with farm-fresh hay & feeds, delivered directly to our customers’ homes from our happy fields in the Pacific Northwest.
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to spearhead results-based marketing campaigns and manage the day-to-day marketing activities of Andy, a new direct-to-consumer brand. We’re changing the way people feed their pets and we need a big thinker to help drive brand awareness through new and innovative ways to reach our target audience. This is a remote position in the Pacific Northwest with required travel to our Ellensburg, WA office. In this role, you will organize, develop, and implement our marketing activities, including:
- Developing high level marketing strategies and ‘big idea’ campaigns
- Execute day-to-day marketing activities
- Ownership over content marketing, from writing and publishing blogs to overseeing freelance copywriters
- Manage our email marketing program, including newsletters, transactional emails and nurture campaigns
- Write product content for ecommerce website and marketplaces utilizing SEO best practices
- Turn our customers into brand evangelists through our loyalty program and affiliate marketing programs
- Work internally with ecommerce, social media, product development and production teams to develop and launch new products and campaigns
- Create actionable reports around monthly marketing activities
- Work on corporate marketing activities for our sister company, Anderson Hay & Grain
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
- Possess a strong knowledge of the ecommerce space including website usability, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trends
- Hands-on experience in Shopify or similar ecommerce platform is required, knowledge of Klaviyo, Yotpo and Recharge are a plus
- Knowledge of Amazon marketing & optimization best practices
- Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurial initiative
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to guide business strategy decisions
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail
