Job Overview

ONIT Home Services is seeking a creative, collaborative, and goal-oriented Video & Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team! You will play a key role in shaping our narrative and showcasing our products and services through video and social media. You’re ready to come to the table with fresh ideas and strategies for growing our video engagement and video content across various platforms. You’re a natural at adhering to brand guidelines and can finish projects by a given deadline. As a Video & Social Media Specialist, you stay up on the latest social media trends and know the ins and outs of video editing and production, and can own assignments from start to finish.

Reports To

Vice President of Marketing & Technology

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Film and edit videos and voiceovers for advertisements and tutorials on YouTube and company website
  • Capture footage via interviews, site visits, scripted shoots
  • Storyboard concepts and ideas for video and develop scripts and messaging for videos
  • Actively brainstorm and produce video content that aligns with brand guidelines and builds engagement
  • Analyze, track, and report on video performance using KPIs
  • Lead YouTube optimization and analytics
  • Work collaboratively with content, SEO, and PPC team to create videos that meet overall goals such as traffic, leads, engagement, shares
  • Manage and own social media accounts Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest
  • Curate content calendars across all brands and social media platforms
  • Develop and maintain a social brand voice that aligns with company vision
  • Manage and organize library of company video and photography
  • Maintain in-house video equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, film, or graphic design
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in video production or social media management
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Applications: Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop
  • Natural storyteller
  • Excellent filming and editing skills
  • Accessible Online video portfolio
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Self-starter that displays ownership of tasks at hand

Remote Position:

Our team is functioning in a WFH environment. We coordinate virtually with online meetings and messaging using supporting equipment.
