Job Summary:

The Technical SEO Analyst should have a strong understanding of web development technologies and coding languages, as well as experience with SEO best practices and analytical tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are also important, as the Technical SEO Analyst will be working closely with web developers, content creators, and other stakeholders to ensure the website is technically optimized for search engines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Auditing website structure and code to identify technical issues that can impact search engine visibility.
  • Independently implement and verify proper use of metadata, such as title tags and meta descriptions, to improve click-through rates from search engine results pages.
  • Manage relationships with SEO agencies and external partners to implement the overall SEO strategy.
  • Ensuring website content is crawlable and indexable by search engines, through the use of robots.txt, XML sitemaps, schema markup, and url structure.
  • Analyzing core web vitals, including, website speed and mobile-friendliness, and implementing improvements to enhance the user experience.
  • Debugging and fixing crawl errors, broken links, and other technical issues that can impact search engine rankings.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in search engine algorithms, and adapting website technical architecture to ensure ongoing search engine optimization.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related field is preferred.
  • Advanced level of knowledge in Technical SEO.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing department, Agency Account Services or related corporate environment.
  • Stay up to date with changes to search engine algorithms and understand how they impact website rankings.
  • Experience working in website development, including with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other programming languages.
  • Identify technical SEO issues and develop effective solutions to address them.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously across various channels in a fast-paced environment
  • Use tools including Google Analytics (specifically GA4), Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and SiteImprove.
  • Must have excellent Microsoft office skills, strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills a must.
  • Adept at working with marketing teams and other departmental heads to achieve a common goal
