CWT has an opportunity for a Strategic Marketing Leader to join the company in the Dallas/Wylie, TX or Kimberton, PA areas. This position is a key member of the CWT Marketing and Product Management team which has developed a reputation for leading the building products industry with cutting-edge, customer-focused digital marketing initiatives that are tightly aligned with the market development efforts of our sales teams.

 

 

We’re looking for a goal-oriented, innovative marketing leader to join our energetic and fast-paced team. At CWT we do things differently. We care about design, performance and customer experience. You do too. You will lead our customer experience, digital demand generation and sales support efforts for our Residential and Light Commercial markets and help ensure our Account Based Marketing (ABM) efforts drive engagement and revenue. Marketing collaborates across the organization to develop initiatives that help the business unit achieve annual objectives. This position is responsible for designing campaigns that generate demand, address customer and sales personnel needs, support new product launches and accelerate key sales initiatives.

 

 

Efforts are focused on leading strategic campaign development, as well as orchestrating execution. The Strategic Marketing Leader also provides day-to-day support to facilitate Sales’ success. In this role you will engage with a variety of B2B audiences including architects, builders, contractors and consultants. This position is ideal for someone interested in honing their digital marketing skills while developing a deeper understanding of business that will provide a foundation for a long-term career in digital marketing, marketing or strategic business leadership.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and success with digital demand generation that drives business results, brand building that fuels demand generation and new product development and launch to achieve new product sales objectives (Demand Gen / Brand Building / Innovation).

 

 

Currently this role is 100% remote with the intent of eventually getting back into the office 2-3 days a week. The team meets in person quarterly between Agile Sprints for teambuilding and Sprint planning. Located in the scenic and tranquil Philadelphia suburb of Kimberton, this position provides an easy commute and an office atmosphere that facilitates focus and creative productivity.

 

 

The principal marketing duties and expected outcomes of this position include:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategy to support corporate growth and financial goals.
  • Develop and lead execution of annual marketing plans for the business unit.
  • Generate demand through a broad mix of digital and traditional channels, and measure results against key metrics.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing support to develop and deploy targeted Account Based Marketing (ABM), SEO, SEM and related digital ad campaigns and ensure effective execution and key metric tracking via relevant Salesforce and Hubspot dashboards.
  • Lead creative development of content for website, email, social media, public relations, traditional and digital advertising, tradeshows, sales aids, published articles and other vehicles as appropriate. Manage outside agency and coordinate with in-house digital support team.
  • Develop annual marketing budget; responsible for managing annual spend.
  • Collaborate with key functional areas to identify and evaluate new product opportunities to ensure a robust new product pipeline, and lead the process to commercialize and launch best candidates.
  • Establish performance metrics for marketing campaigns, and track and report results. Analyze and course-correct programs as necessary.
  • Analyze available third party and proprietary data to inform business strategy decisions; work in collaboration with business leaders, as needed, to support annual strategy and budget-setting goals in alignment with market outlooks/ forecasts.
  • Monitor competitive activity and adjust strategies as appropriate to maximize share growth.
  • Support channel partners with marketing and merchandising programs that drive brand awareness, loyalty and revenue.
  • Ensure external facing materials meet graphic standards, are up to date, and that appropriate marketing asset files are maintained.
  • Manage inventory and fulfillment of samples and collateral materials to meet sales and customer requirements
  • Lead qualitative and/or quantitative voice of customer research to assess performance, determine needs, and identify opportunities.
  • Provide product launch support and collaborate with Product Management on new product planning and commercialization
  • Work with Marketing and Sales leadership to develop a deep understanding of our residential and light commercial construction markets and customers.

 

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Experience and /or aptitude around developing content to support traditional and digital marketing campaigns to specific audiences.
  • Experience in the construction industry with builders, contractors and architects preferred.
  • Experience assessing and launching sales enablement tools and processes.
  • Self-motivated, well organized, team player with strong communication skills
  • Strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of software applications including Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics strongly preferred.
  • Experience partnering with business leads and creative teams to deliver amazing content and meeting deadlines
  • The candidate must also be a strong collaborator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and trade-offs to senior executives
  • Understanding of website metrics, data analysis and reporting tools
  • BA/BS degree
  • Self-motivated, well organized, team player with strong communication skills
  • Deep customer-journey minded approach to digital, social media and website development
  • A strong bias for action

 

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to do one or more of the following, separately and/or together: stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms, read, write and communicate.

Work Environment

This position primarily involves work in the standard office environment, although it is sometimes necessary to perform limited amounts of work at manufacturing facilities and job sites typical of the construction trade. Occasional travel to other Company facilities and trade shows in the United States and Canada is also required. The work schedule is consistent with normal business hours, although weekend or after-business hours work may occasionally be required.
