UX Strategist
Location: Remote Eligible (U.S.)- Denver/Dallas preferred

The Integer Group is looking for a UX Strategist to join our agency!

This employee will be responsible for strategizing best-in-class digital experiences that put customers at the heart of the design process while fulfilling the business objectives set by our clients. We are hoping to find someone with a minimum of 5+ years working in the UX/CX space as a UX Strategist / UX Designer, within a digital agency environment, formal UX education preferable.

What You’ll Do in This Role:

  • Design usable, enjoyable, and effective customer experiences across a diverse portfolio of Integer clients by balancing user needs with business goals and technical capabilities
  • Participate in strategic discovery and decisions about design and emerging technology platforms
  • Support planning to ensure a project is set up and scoped correctly before work begins
  • Understand and think strategically about users, their motivation, and their behavior
  • Support person-centered design activities to understand the challenge, empathize with customers, design and prototype, and validate solutions with end users
  • Develop strong digital content strategies that support client objectives while serving user needs
  • Demonstrate how data and user research impact your design decisions
    Work with key stakeholders to interpret, guide, and help them realize their ambitions
  • Use a variety of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis techniques to continually improve UX
  • Collaborate with internal account, strategy, development, and creative teams to develop best-in-class user experiences
  • Present, annotate, and thoughtfully defend designs and recommendations with internal teams and senior client partners
  • Collaborate with data and search teams to create well-rounded, measurable solutions and ongoing optimizations
  • Help drive the growth and culture of a growing UX team through participation, mentorship, positive representation, and evangelization of UX throughout the company
  • Creation of personas / pen portraits
  • Usability testing (test scenarios and scripts, recruitment briefs, discussion guides, clickable prototypes, analysis and reports)
  • IA audits, sitemaps, user journeys and use case development
  • Content audits and content strategy
  • Multivariate and A/B testing
  • Technical and functional requirements gathering
  • Lead / facilitate discovery sessions, framing, and co-creation workshops
  • Development of sound experience briefs
  • Development of low-fidelity sketches / concepts and high-fidelity wireframes
  • Development of responsive and adaptive designs
  • Analytics data extraction and support with SEO strategy / best practice
  • KPI development and reporting, and development of ongoing optimization plans
  • Development of UX specification documents

The Experience You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Able to handle complex UX problems and drive excellent execution
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of business drivers / project commercials—deliver on time and on budget
  • Proficient in waterfall methodology with an understanding of agile principles
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Good awareness of the digital landscape—staying aware of the latest trends while not being dictated by them
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • Able to communicate, defend, and build consensus around UX architecture
  • Detail-oriented and thorough in your approach to strategic design
