Job Summary

The SEO Analyst is an integral part of the Digital Enablement Team by being the primary person responsible for conducting keyword research, monitor website traffic and develop improvement strategies to ensure the best possible user experience. This person is the liaison between the Ecommerce & Digital Enablement team and the Product & Brand Marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out keyword research using software such as SEMRush to optimize web content for D2C & D2B sites
  • Tracking metrics such as organic traffic, conversion rates and time spent on page using platforms such as Google Analytics
  • Monitoring and reporting on search trends and SEO performance to the SVP, CMO or Marketing, VP of Marketing and Senior Director of E-Commerce and Marketing Enablement monthly
  • Analyzing websites and social media pages to make recommendations for improvement
  • Performing competitor analysis to identify content gaps and areas for improvement and reporting to the US Sales Senior Leadership team quarterly
  • Staying up to date with new SEO, social media and digital marketing industry trends, tools and practices
  • Implementing link building strategies
  • Provide input and analysis to VP of Product Development and Product Marketing managers for New Product Development & insights
  • Making suggestions for SEO-friendly content creation
  • Providing keyword insights and SEO advice for other teams within the organization
  • Optimizing webpages for mobile devices
  • Use excel, tableau and other reporting dashboards to compile reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or comparable work experience
  • 3 to 5 years of SEO, digital or marketing experience
  • Understanding of market research and performance
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing
  • Project management experience is beneficial
  • Strong project management, organizational and planning skills
  • Advanced experience with MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure performance and determine improvements, ideally Google Analytics
  • Ability to connect insights and recommendations to support brand goals and business objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities change often
  • Strong interpersonal skills: a team player, positive and collaborative
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (Monday through Wednesday in-office, Lake Zurich, IL) and travel on a limited basis
