SEO & Affiliate ManagerFull Time
We are seeking a driven and determined SEO & Affiliate Manager to help manage and implement SEO best practices, along with optimizing affiliate offers and integrations across a portfolio of websites.
The chosen applicant will oversee several affiliate offers across multiple sites, improving their efficiency, fostering revenue expansion, and communicating and negotiating with affiliate managers and networks. As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies, with an emphasis on on-page and technical SEO, to improve organic traffic across our portfolio, and to help achieve our digital marketing goals. To create a unified approach and meet organizational goals, the chosen applicant will collaborate closely with various teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- SEO Management for the entire portfolio of sites. Extensive knowledge and experience of on-page and technical SEO best practices is preferred.
- Ensure SEO-related dev tickets are assigned, tracked, and completed by the product and development teams.
- Updating articles/content with new content and affiliate links/opportunities.
- Suggesting content based on new affiliate programs.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including SEO agencies and consultants, to ensure they deliver quality work that aligns with our objectives.
- Run and manage third-party affiliate relationships and programs on platforms including, but not limited to, ShareASale, CJ, Pepperjam, etc.
- Manage and expand affiliate offers across the portfolio, which includes identifying and recruiting new partners, managing relationships, and optimizing performance and payouts.
- Negotiate and maintain affiliate contracts, including commission rates, payment terms, and other contractual provisions.
- Update and optimize affiliate links and promotions across the portfolio of sites.
- Analyze data and monitor affiliate performance to discover potential for improvement and optimization.
- Provide stakeholders and top management with regular reports and assessments on affiliate offer performance and opportunities.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and additional affiliate marketing offers.
- Stay ahead of the competition, keep up with industry developments and best practices, and consistently refine the affiliate marketing program.
Requirements & Preferences:
- Experience in SEO, with a proven record of improving organic search rankings, driving traffic, and increasing conversions.
- Experience as an affiliate SEO with a successful track record.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities, as well as the ability to handle many partners and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical abilities, including the ability to analyze data and analytics in order to discover patterns, opportunities, and obstacles.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Surfer, and SEMrush.
- Experience in developing, executing, and over-seeing successful link-building strategies, focusing on anchor-text optimization and identifying toxic links.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and operate independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work.
