Remote Technical Coder III

A health care provider has an open position for a Remote Technical Coder III.

Must be able to:
Refer problem accounts to appropriate coding or management personnel for resolution
Review coding for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to billing system utilizing CCI edits
Utilize computer applications and resources
Skills and Requirements Include:

High School or GED equivalent
Three years hospital coding experience
Completed an AHIMA or AACP-certified Coding program, Bidwell Training School or equivalent program
Requires CCS or RHIT or RHIA or Certified Professional Coder certification
