Remote Senior Software Development Cloud Security Engineer

A software development firm is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Development Cloud Security Engineer.

Must be able to:
Write and review technical proposals, architectural diagrams, application code and cloud formation
Drive the development of critical security components and conduct PoCs for new security technologies to be used
Use automated and manual testing techniques to find vulnerabilities across our services
Skills and Requirements Include:

Experience working with APIs and microservices architectures
Skills and experience in cloud security engineering, creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation of infrastructure, coding & scripting
Technical expertise in cloud computing technologies, Cloudformation or Terraform, cloud security tools, and scripting languages
Experience leading initiatives that have measurably improved the security of cloud environments
Solid understanding of application and cloud security
Strong understanding of container and container orchestration best practices using Kubernetes, EKS, ECS etc
