Anuket Luxury Apothecary is a fine fragrance company, based in Tampa, Florida. Our rare single-origin fragrance oils are imported from Egypt and hand-bottled in Tampa.
We are a small startup company that is expanding quickly and looking to add new interns to our 6-month internship program. The positions are part-time with very flexible hours and mostly remote work (some positions require attendance at events, and therefore require you to be located in the Tampa Bay or Central Florida area).

Some experience and familiarity with programs specific to each position is preferred but not required. At the end of the internship, interns will have a full portfolio, letters of recommendation, and assistance with networking and contacts.

Basic requirements:

• 10-15 hours per week, times are flexible and we can work around most schedules
• Commitment to 6-month long internship (including training weeks)- from June through December.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and ability to follow directions

• Creativity to develop content while staying on-brand

We are seeking marketing interns to help with the following projects (please let me know in your application which projects you are most interested in):

Public Relations-

• Duties and requirements will include:
• Located in the Tampa Bay area: most work will be done remotely but attendance at some events is required and the option to work from the Anuket warehouse is available

• Earned media: Build relationships with influencers, journalists, publications, etc; Respond in a timely manner to HARO requests
• Publications: Research and identify digital and hard-copy publications; Submit press releases or requests for coverage
• Podcasts: Research, identify, and apply to appropriate podcasts
• Influencer/blogger marketing: Offering product to influential people to share with their networks
• Owned media: Suggest appropriate blog and social media topics
• Preparing Content: Prepare press releases when necessary (collaborations, events, new products, etc); Develop promotional materials or speaking notes

Visual Content Creation (video/photography, and graphics options)-

• Duties and requirements will include:
• Located in the Tampa Bay area: most work will be done remotely but attendance at some events is required and the option to work from the Anuket warehouse is available
• Must be available occasional nights and weekend to attend pop-up markets, networking events, and industry parties to capture content
• Strong photography skills: to capture product and lifestyle images,

• Capture video of products, product usage, product development, lifestyle & travel, behind the scenes, markets and events
• Create graphics, videos, and gifs for website and social media platforms

• Graphics Creation: Create on-brand graphics using Canva; Keep in touch with team members to see if they need any graphics for IG posts, Stories, emails, etc.

Email Marketing-

• Duties and requirements will include:

• Remote position can be worked from anywhere in the US and the option to work from the Anuket warehouse in Tampa is available
• Basic understanding of Klaviyo preferred
• Bi- weekly newsletters sent out: Create content, subject lines, preview text, etc for each newsletter based on current announcements or recent blogs
• Email Flows: Create new flows to increase web traffic and sales, Review and update existing email flows based on current best practices
• Segmentation: Build segments based on location, behaviors, purchases, demographics, engagement, etc.; Create targeted campaigns based on audience segmentation
• Analytics: Analyze business and marketing performance; Make necessary changes to increase conversions from email marketing

SEO / Analytics/ Website-

• Duties and requirements will include:
• Remote position can be worked from anywhere in the US and the option to work from the Anuket warehouse in Tampa is available
• Analyzing weekly/monthly analytics to ensure marketing efforts are converting and find areas of improvement
• SEO and Content/Keyword Research: Perform research to identify areas of improvement around SEO

• Help rewrite website content to include Product descriptions, Product titles and search titles, Meta descriptions, etc. to improve website conversions
• Website: Updating marketing campaigns on our Shopify website, creating marketing content for products, sales, etc. for the website

Details: This is a 6-month internship, pay is based on productivity with the opportunity for a monthly bonus only. College credits are available upon request. Hours are flexible and most work can be done remotely, with occasional attendance at events or the offices required. Interns will work collaboratively and have the opportunity to seek out preferred projects and desired assignments.
