The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the marketing department including coordination of marketing, marketing qualified lead (MQL) generation, communications, and promotional materials for WHR Global supporting sales efforts to the external market. Tasked with developing and maintaining marketing strategies and continuing to build the WHR brand through clear and concise messaging on social media, web pages, proposals, and prospecting materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inbound lead generation as the main focus of all marketing strategies.
  • Lead and manage overall SEO strategy with defined growth targets, in coordination with external advisors.
  • Research and implement SEO recommendations for website architecture, content, backlinks and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords and online visibility, in coordination with external advisors.
  • Ongoing optimization of SEO efforts, including but not limited to: keyword research, on-page optimizations (including keyword insertion/deletion, metadata etc.) landing page optimization, conversion optimization and backlink building and optimization, in coordination with external advisors.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals.
  • Keep pace with SEO, PPC, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments.
  • Define, develop, and implement the overall social media strategy.
  • Develop a clear and consistent tone of voice in all major channels that aligns well with the brand and its goals/objectives.
  • Create and maintain the content calendar to ensure regular content on social throughout the year to align with business goals and position the brands as thought leaders.
  • Conversion of written case studies, blog posts, and articles into digital assets, such as WordPress blog posts, press releases, and documents designed in Canva.
  • Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Ads and like systems, in coordination with external advisors.
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics, in coordination with external advisors.
  • Responsible for the design and creation of marketing programs, prospect and current client presentations, policies, reports, and other materials as needed.
  • Works with Operations and Leadership to identify and implement supplemental materials to expand WHR’s relationships with existing clients.
  • Works closely with Sales Team to identify new business opportunities and reach growth goals, including weekly sales and marketing meetings, and assistance with the proposal process.
  • Staying abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of WHR Global, and continually enhance the marketing offerings and platforms.
  • Works closely with Sales Team, Operations and Leadership to create and distribute newsletters, benchmark reports, landing pages, and webinars through existing CRM systems.

Expectations:

  • Exceeds goals and KPIs to generate leads and create revenue generating opportunities.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with all parties involved in the relocation process including the transferee (spouse), the client, the vendors, and internal departments of WHR Global.
  • Prioritize tasks on a daily basis and adjust schedule accordingly to accommodate the tasks that require attention on that given day.
  • Contribute to team success by accomplishing tasks necessary to maintain satisfactory guideline achievement.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be a team player and adapt to the changes in the company. Take on additional responsibility as needed to maintain sales and service expectations.
  • Assist in the training of employees to implement new procedures and policy changes.
  • Provide vision to the marketing team through development, providing learning opportunities, and consistent feedback to the team.

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and regular attendance.
  • Strong written communication with the ability to present information and respond to all levels of an organization
  • Critical reasoning and flexible thinking are necessary.
  • Requires a hard-working, positive, and professional individual. Focus on customer service is necessary. Must possess the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-stress fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, vendors, and other third-party contacts, as well as with company managers and all other office team members.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and meet critical time deadlines are crucial to this position.
  • This position is not eligible for 100% remote capabilities, Wednesday’s remote, and is required to have face-to-face interactions with colleagues and be on-site in Pewaukee.
  • WHR is a Federal Contractor and as such requires vaccination against COVID-19.

 


Education & Experience:

  • College degree with a marketing, advertising or communications degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of marketing or communications experience is required.
