Position: Digital + Social Media Consultant
Description: THuS Marketing seeks a dynamic, self-starter to support with digital marketing and social media projects. This role will create and maintain a strong online presence for our company and our clients. Your role is to implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts and the development of digital marketing assets.
If you are a tech-savvy professional with an interest in communicating with clients through online channels, we would like to meet you.
You will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand and clients’ brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends
- Create engaging text, image and video content
- Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around services
- Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
- Monthly reporting on performance
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in social media and digital advertising and firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space (Hootsuite, Social Sprout, Keyhole, Ritetag)
- Strong working knowledge of the Google Suite (Docs, Slides and Sheets)
- Proficiency utilizing Canva and graphic design (Proficiency in and working knowledge of HTML a plus)
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword and hashtag research and Google Analytics
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with press and business contacts
- Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
Start Date: Position open until filled, requires 1 year contract commitment.
Hours: 30+ hours/week, remote and in office for quarterly meetings if local candidate

Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
